Established in 1963 by Henry Gritz, we have been proudly serving the Chester County, Berks County, West Chester, Oxford, Reading, and Lancaster PA areas for over 50 years.

Our Story

Our founder, Henry Gritz, had a vision to bring affordable and high-quality pools to the community. With over 20 years of experience, Henry designed and manufactured pool panels, filter tanks, coping, and everything else imaginable for his pools. During his time, he installed over 1,500 pools in the area. After his retirement in 1984, his son Mark took over the business and brought a fresh perspective to the company. Mark wanted to create a more custom pool experience, with a focus on innovative designs, and building relationships with our customers. Under Mark's leadership, Gritz Pools & Spas continues to grow and thrive, providing top-notch pool construction, service, and supplies to our customers.
