Our History

Our story begins with Wayne Criswell Sr., who founded Chester County Pools and Supply Company in 1960. Wayne Sr. built the company from the ground up, starting with a small operation in his house, which his son Wayne Jr. helped him run. The response was immediate and much greater than Wayne Sr. had imagined. Over the years, many members of the Criswell family have worked in the store, including Wayne Jr., his sister Dawn and her husband Danny, as well as their son David and his wife Robin.

Today, Wayne Jr. owns the store and is committed to continuing the family tradition of providing exceptional service and quality products to our loyal customers. With the help of his wife Robin and their son Jeff, we are proud to carry on the legacy of Wayne Sr., who passed away in 1981.
