The Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA) has been a leading force in the pool industry for over 50 years. Our mission is to make pool ownership safe and enjoyable for everyone by providing resources, education, and advocacy to help pool owners and professionals thrive as a community.

The FSPA was founded in 1970 as Region VII of the National Swimming Pool Industry (NSPI), with the goal of promoting growth, quality service, and innovation within the industry. Since then, we have evolved to become one of the largest and most influential pool associations in the state of Florida.

Our History

Over the years, the FSPA has had significant milestones and achievements. We have grown from a small regional association to a state-wide organization with a broad scope of services. We have also expanded our reach by establishing chapters throughout the state, providing education and training to pool professionals, and advocating for the pool industry at the local and state levels.

Our Team

Our CEO, Elizabeth McMurray, has been leading the FSPA for many years and has been instrumental in shaping the organization's direction and goals. Our Senior Director of Operations, Charis Tyson, oversees our daily operations, while our Chief Government Relations Officer, Dallas Thiesen, works tirelessly to advocate for the pool industry at the local and state levels.

Our team also includes experts in workforce education, marketing, membership development, and administrative services. We are a dedicated and knowledgeable group of individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the pool industry.
