Founded in 1981, Pool 'N Spa Artistry was established with the goal of helping homeowners in the greater Houston area create their dream outdoor living spaces. Our founder, Robert Salinas, has over 40 years of experience in the industry and has been committed to providing exceptional service to our customers since the beginning.

The Pool Construction Process

At Pool 'N Spa Artistry, we take pride in our attention to detail and commitment to quality. Our pool construction process is a carefully crafted system that ensures every pool is built to last.

R Layout: The layout process takes place before your pool is scheduled for excavation. This is where we will work with you to finalize the size and shape of your pool.

R Excavation: After all utility lines have been located, we will begin the excavation process, shaping and structuring your pool.

R Steel/Rebar: Steel serves as the framework for your pool, with its high structural integrity. Rebar will be throughout the entire pool and spa structure.

R Interior Plumbing & Lighting: We will install the plumbing and lighting for your pool, including main drains, pool returns, spa jets, and more.

R The Pour: This is where we will apply the Gunite, a concrete blend of cement, sand, and water, to create a tough inner shell for your pool.

R Exterior Plumbing: After the steel cage has been placed, we will begin the plumbing stub-out process, including main drains, pool returns, spa jets, and more.

R Electrical: Our team will install pool/spa lights, timers, pool automation, and connections needed for pool equipment.

R Tile & Coping: At this point, we will install tile and coping selections, including waterline tile along the perimeter of your pool and coping at the top of the pool edge.

R Decking: Our team will install your pool deck, ensuring it is level, secure, and meets your needs.

R Gunite: This is where your pool takes shape. Our experienced Gunite crew will apply the Gunite, which is a concrete blend of cement, sand, and water, to create a tough inner shell for your pool.

R Start Up: Once your pool is full of water, we will provide chemicals to balance the water chemistry required for your specific plaster finish. We will also provide a comprehensive guide on how to care for your pool and spa.

Pool School: At Pool 'N Spa Artistry, we understand that pool ownership requires maintenance and upkeep. That's why we offer Pool School, a comprehensive course on how to care for your pool and spa.
