Casual Water

Many of you have long known us as Casual Water, a company originally formed in May of 1994. As we grew and continually updated and expanded our operations, we were actually running two companies: Casual Water Construction 4.0 was our pool installation and restoration company, while Service 4.0 was our service and maintenance company. After a successful season in 2019, and to better represent our organization, we added 'TwinForks' to our Service 4.0 name. After all, we were servicing both the North and South forks. Then came COVID-19 in the winter of 2020. The 'powers that be' decided that our pool construction business, like many construction businesses, was 'non-essential' and shut it down. TwinForks Service was spared. At the time, we had about two dozen construction and restoration projects in various phases of construction. To fulfill our obligations to our clients (and to survive) we transferred our construction company's insurance needs over to our service company and reclassified certain 'construction' tasks as 'service' tasks. This made it possible to complete open projects and satisfy our client's needs. We could not, however, begin new construction projects (at the time). Our goal was to re-open Casual Water once COVID was over. However, for the first time in over 25 years, we found ourselves running one company and we liked it. We REALLY liked it. So, for the time being, we're sticking with it. TwinForks Pool & Spa 4.0. Catchy, right?

We are the same people, and our mission remains the same. We have an emphasis on safety, energy efficiency, and green building technology. TwinForks Pool & Spa 4.0 utilizes the best science has to offer in the design and installation of our new pools and spas, and our restoration crews bring our existing pools and spas up to 21st century standards. Since our inception in 1994, our reliability and responsiveness have been the keys to developing the long-term client relationships for which we are known. Building and/or restoring thousands of pools on the East End in our 20+ years, we are a proud leader in innovation, helping to introduce new technology and Eco-friendly solutions to discerning clients both old and new. Our experience and stability are the keys to our success. Simply put, we build the safest, cleanest, most energy-efficient pools in the galaxy.

Our founders, Gregory Kirwan and Michael Hartman, travel the country, attending seminars and trade shows to continually hone their craft. They are experts in every aspect of pool construction and possess advanced knowledge in pool safety, water quality, and energy efficiency. TwinForks pools and spas are stunningly beautiful, functionally sound and use the best technology that science has to offer.

Gregory Kirwan: Industry Certified Pool Building and Service Professional

With 30+ years in the trade, Gregory is a US Army Veteran and studied Business Administration at Long Island University, Southampton. He is the Founder and current CEO of TwinForks Pools. Gregory's skills in design, problem-solving, and sales are top-notch and he takes great pride in each project. Gregory feels that if you do an honest job at an honest price, you will always have work.

Michael Hartman: Industry Certified Pool Building and Service Professional

Also a 30+ year veteran of the swimming pool and spa industry, Michael is a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale's Landscape Architecture Program. With his extensive knowledge of water chemistry and pool mechanics, he is able to handle any challenge that comes his way. For Michael, no job is complete until the client is completely satisfied.
